Family is important to us, so Southeast Dental is proud to offer services to Markham families through Healthy Smiles Ontario. Healthy Smiles is a dental program that provides preventive, routine, and emergency dental services at no cost for patients 17 years old and younger from low-income households.
This includes regular check-ups, cleanings, fillings, x-rays, scaling, and emergency dental care. Enrollment is automatic for families relieving benefits via Ontario Works, Temporary Care Assistance, Ontario Disability Support Program, and Assistance of Children with Severe Disabilities. Otherwise, children are eligible to enroll if they are Ontario residents under 17 years of age, from a specified household income outlined here.
Once enrolled, please present your Health Smiles Ontario card at each appointment with Southeast Dental to receive coverage of services. Your card will be mailed to you after enrollment has been confirmed.
