At Southeast Dental, our patients’ privacy is of the utmost importance to us. Any personal information a patient may provide to our office is kept strictly confidential.
When patient information needs to be shared in order to provide specific aspects of oral health care, we may ask for written consent for disclosure. Such instances may include sharing diagnostic findings with health care providers, processing insurance claims, and patient referrals.
Patients are legally able to copy their personal dental records and patient files, and control the right to release said information to others, including health care providers. No third party may be allowed to request access to personal patient files without written access beforehand.
